Nigel J. Lovett

Mr. Lovett brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to FOFM. As Vice Chairman, he focuses upon providing tactical advice and resources to FOFM, its invested companies, and clients relating primarily to the firm's investment banking and corporate advisory services.

After graduating from Oxford University, Mr. Lovett began his career as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse in London. Then in 1972, he joined Lehman Brothers and spent the next 35 years as an investment banker with Lehman Brothers, Paine Webber Group, RP&C International, and Horsley Partners. He worked primarily in New York but also spent almost three years in Tokyo. At Lehman Brothers he focused on clients in the energy industry and in Asia, while also having senior management responsibilities in the firm's investment banking division.

More recently, Mr. Lovett served as President, CEO, and Director for Toreador Resources, a Nasdaq listed corporation, which was headquartered in Dallas, Texas, but had operations in France, Hungary, Romania, and Turkey.

Mr. Lovett lives in Monterey, California, where he continues to be active in investment and charitable activities. Aside from these endeavors, he enjoys golf, books, and traveling.
